Confirmation
The core of Confirmation Education is a two and a quarter year program, beginning in the 7th grade and taught every Sunday from 9:30 until 10:30 AM in the newly constructed multi-purpose room.
Instructional materials come from Augsburg Fortress, "Here We Stand" Confirmation program. The program teaches core, traditional Lutheran principles and doctrine, as well as in-depth studies of Old and New Testament, Baptism, Ten Commandments, Lord's Prayer, and Holy Communion. Experiences in music, movies, science, and other activities deepen the learning and incorporate life application lessons for today's youth. To learn more about the curriculum visit www.herewestandconfirmation.org
A Confirmation Ministry Orientation for students and their parents will be held in the fellowship hall on August 31st at 9:30 AM. To learn more about this important ministry, please contact Jan Berger, Confirmation Director.
