First Communion Instruction
All day instructional classes for First Holy Communion take place in April and October. The children come together with their parents to experience the joy and fellowship of God. This is a wonderful day where we explore the meaning of communion, read the Exodus story, tell the story of the Last Supper, make chalices, bake bread and taste the elements. Even if your child has been receiving communion for a number of years, this is an opportunity to learn more about what it means. This class is designed for children grades K – 4, however, if children are older, and have not attended, they are encouraged to do so. A parent/guardian is required to be a part of this day. Please register your child.
