Lutheran Men in Mission
Building Godly Men...To strengthen men's Christian faith, relationships, and mission in their homes, churches, communities...To gather men throughout our congregations to pray for our pastors and church...To tear down the walls of culture, ethnicity, race and location that separate us...To: "...Encourage one another and build each other up..." (1 Thess. 5:11).
The Lutheran Men in Mission is a ministry of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America. Its purpose is to strengthen men’s Christian faith, relationships, and mission in their homes, churches, and community. We are about a call to personal Holiness…
“As for me and my household, we will serve the Lord (Joshua 24:15).”
Families are in conflict today. Men are allowing culture to affect their lives and their families through a dominating climate of easy divorce, fatherlessness, teen pregnancy, adultery, self-gratification, workaholism, etc. The need to engage men more fully in the ministry of our church is necessary… and timely!
The Lutheran Men in Mission believe it’s time for men to:
“Be strong…and show yourself a man…Keep the charge of the Lord your God.” (David, 1 Kings 2:2-3).
