We remembered Christ’s last meal with his disciples, but the central focus is his commandment that we live out the promise embodied in this meal.

As Jesus washed his disciples’ feet, so we are called to give and receive love in humble service to one another.

On Good Friday at 9 am (the hour Jesus was nailed to the cross), we will gathered with our Wooden Cross in front of Harmony (2300 Clemson Rd.) for a time of prayer with the residents there.  Then, we will process safely on the sidewalk, carrying the cross ½ mile back to LS for prayer.

Along the way, you can took turns with partners carrying the cross – or some just walked along behind the cross. 

On Palm Sunday at 3 pm, we will gather at Living Springs with members of Northeast UMC and then process the cross alongside the Hardscrabble sidewalk for 1 mile to the Northeast UMC church.
